Prince of Peace Catholic School

Prince of Peace School Registration

Traditional Program

All students entering Prince of Peace School for the first time must meet with the teacher for a brief assessment before registering.   If possible, the student may ‘shadow’ for part of the school day.  If the teacher believes that the student is entering the proper grade and that Prince of Peace School is able to provide the best education for the child, parents may then complete the registration papers.  Along with the return of the registration papers, the $150 non-refundable registration/book fee is expected.  Diocesan policy does not allow us to accept any student or family who owes tuition/ fees/ fines at another diocesan school.  Before the first day of class, a birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if Catholic), and current immunization form must be presented to the school office.  Kindergarteners must also present a medical exam form for school entry.

Montessori Program

At least one parent of a perspective Montessori student must spend about one hour observing in the Montessori classroom and must complete a questionnaire.  The teacher will meet the child for assessment at a later date.  If possible, the student may ‘shadow’ for part of the school day.  If the teacher believes that the student is entering the proper grade and that the Montessori program of Prince of Peace School is able to provide the best education for the child, registration papers may then be completed.  Along with the return of the registration papers, the $150 non-refundable registration fee and a $100 down-payment on the first month’s tuition is expected.  Diocesan policy does not allow us to accept any student or family who owes tuition/ fees/ fines at another diocesan school.  Before the first day of class, a birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if Catholic), and current immunization form must be presented to the school office.
