Prince of Peace School

Dear Families,

The children returned back from Spring Break rested and ready to work.  Some children had fallen a little behind right before the break.  They have a list of the works they need to finish this week, which they glued to their work plans.  Ask your child how s/he is doing on his/ her list.  Lots of work is being done right now.  

Over Spring Break we discovered that there were three different types of eggs in our fish tank.  We are currently observing a batch in our tank and a batch in a separate container to see if they hatch and what they are.

The third grade field trip will be Monday, May 19.  We are going to Big Bone Lick State Park.  Third grade parents are invited to join us for this fun outing.  We will pack lunches and spend the day enjoying each other's company and the outdoors.  More information (along with permission slips) will come closer to the field trip.

While we are out with the third graders we will need some first or second grade parents to spend the day in the classroom with the other children.  If you would like to help out in the morning or afternoon please let us know.

We do not have spelling tests on Thursday.  We will have a test next week.

If your child has not already returned his or her red homework folder please send it in.  We will have homework again on Friday.
