Dear Parents and Families,

We hope you all enjoyed your extra day for the weekend in honor of President’s Day!  We have had a busy week this week.  The children loved their Valentine’s Day Party, so we cannot thank the parents enough who organized it, donated supplies and volunteered at the party.  The day went so smoothly and it looked like everyone was having such a great time!

A few classroom and school reminders:

• Homework is due tomorrow and spelling tests are tomorrow afternoon.

• We also have pick-a-stick tomorrow afternoon.

• Terra Nova testing will begin for the third graders March 3^rd.  We are trying to make it as relaxed as possible.  We have been sending homework with practice for the tests, as well as including practice in their daily work packets.  A great way to help your children at home is to practice math facts to work on speed and accuracy.  A letter will go home in the next week or so specifically to the third grade parents to detail more information about the testing.

• We have a couple shirts in the classroom that were left from our pajama day during Catholic Schools Week.  We have asked the children if they belong to them, but now we are asking parents!  If you are noticing that you are 1 shirt short, please let us know!  The shirts we have are undershirts, as well as polo shirts.

This week, we have Maggie Green coming in for spelling tests tomorrow, Christina Howard coming in for homework packets on Friday and Brad Howard coming in for Tech Center next Tuesday.  We thank you all for your support and help!
